Collaborate
Want to bring your unique perspective to our mission?
Cities at Night is a global project focused on capturing and analyzing nighttime images of Earth taken by astronauts aboard the International Space Station. We invite anyone interested in night imagery, light pollution, and urban studies to collaborate with us. By working together, we gain a richer understanding of our world’s cities, shining a light on environmental and scientific insights that can guide global initiatives.
How you can collaborate with us:
1.- Join as a Volunteer Contributor
As you may already know, we designed a 3-step process to obtain color night images with real scientific value. Whether you are a student, researcher or just curious about cities at night, you can sign up here:
2.- Partner with Cities at Night for Custom Projects
Do you have a specific research question that requires unique tools or detailed nighttime image analysis? We can collaborate on custom solutions tailored to your research objectives. This process often includes applying for funding to support tool development, testing, and implementation, with timelines aligned to your goals and grant opportunities.
